John Chesnut Sr. Park
(Palm Harbor)

John Chesnut Park in Palm Harobr
John Chesnut Sr. Park in Palm Harbor

John Chesnut Park in Palm Harbor is a great fun & free day.  The park itself has over 255 acres.  It has plenty of room to run, jump and play.  A boardwalk runs along Lake Tarpon and ends with a 30- foot high observation tower.  A all pig-tails up playground had enough equipment to burn off all that stored up energy.  A KFC is right down the road so you can stop on your way in and get a bucket of chicken and have lunch in a picnic pad on Lake Tarpon.  Bring your poles and see if you have any better luck than we did catching a fish from the fishing pier.

Open from 7am to Dark daily
