Great Explorations is an excellent hands on museum.St. Pizza is real looking pizzeria that allows your kids to make then bake and serve pretend pizzas.They have a pint size Publix, a fire station and a veterinary’s office that allow kids to lose themselves to their imagination.Buckle into a chair and hoist yourself into the air using a pulley system.The raceway provides older kids (or you) the opportunity to build a race car and then race any competitors on the large racing track.At the computer animation station you create a movie by blending individual pictures of scenes of little figurines you have taken.It all adds up to a day fun at Great Explorations. How long should I plan on spending here?
Approx. 4 hrs - Kids over 12 might only need 2 hours
A thunderstorm ruined our plan for the beach! We were on vacation from Michigan and found your website. Wow! Given the ages of our kids, it's location and the fact that it was inside we picked Great Explorations. Super Glad We Did! Lots of stuff for the kids to do- everything is hands on. A great place for me to play with our toddler while my husband ran after the older kids. Would recommend it to anyone with kids.
