All Aboard!

Ride a real vintage train!
Climb aboard and take to the rails at the Florida Railroad Museum!  Their goal is to preserve Florida's Railroad history by acquiring and restoring rolling stock and equipment so that visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of Florida railroading as it existed in the 1940's and 1950's.
They operate a six mile line between Parrish and Willow in rural Manatee county.  Each weekend visitors can ride in comfort, rain or shine, in an covered gondola, an air conditioned coach or a open air window coach.  Special Event weekend through out the year- not to be missed is the North Pole Express!

I took my kids to the pumpkin patch express and they loved it!!!!  It was awesome!  We rode the train for about 30 minutes then the kids got off and got to pick a pumpkin at a fall festival.  We then got back on the train and planned out the pumpkin faces we were going to crave.  The kids were so excited to be riding a real train.  Everyone that worked there was so nice!
We will be back next year!
