The Florida Aquarium is big! Over 200,000 square feet and it is all indoors and air conditioned.
The layout of the Aquarium follows a drop of rain from the wetlands to the ocean. The major areas are: Wetlands, Bays and Beaches, Coral reef and Ocean Commotion.
Bring your swim suit and a towel because just outside a spray/splash area allows the kids to cool down and while mom and dad wind down.
You will be greeted by birds, turtles, penguins, alligators, otters, sharks, giant groupers, tropical fish and much more aquatic wild life at the Florida Aquarium.
Every year the Florida Aquarium keeps getting better. Great place to spend the day!
