What you'll do there:

Florida has been home to some amazing creatures.  15 feet sloughs,  Dog-Bears, Sharks as large as a school bus, and miniature horses.  All these and more have left the tale of their story here in Florida by their fossils.   Learn about the Indians who made their lives without any modern day comforts.  The outside butterfly garden houses thousands of free flying butterflies that are apt to land on visitors.

The Hall of Fossils is amazing!  We spend about 3 hours here and enjoyed it very much. By the way we discovered the museum on Tampa with Kids website.  I would recommend visiting but kids over 6 will like it the best
