Bucca Di Beppos Tampa Florida
Family Night Out @ Buca Di Beppos

Eating out with the kids can be great fun.

But it can also be stressful.   Picking a place to eat at that really doesn't mind that you brought jr. is the first step to a good experience.  I've put together my list of my kids favorite places and I'd love to hear from you and your great finds.  Please use the form to email your favorite kids friendly joints.  Bon Appetite

Beyond Chicken Fingers!

Arigatos Japanese Steakhouse:  (813) 960-5050 13755 N Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL 33618-2417.  Make sure to make reservations or you might have to wait.  Dinner and a show all in one!  We always have fun here.  The chefs are fun and always include the kids in on the show

Buca di Beppo
: Make a reservation for the kitchen table.  You'll feel like a VIP and the kids will think your the best!

Caddy's Waterfront
. 9000 W. Gulf Blvd. Treasure Island, FL 33706 727-360-4993.  How does letting your kids swim in the ocean and build sandcastles while you watch from your table sound?  Almost too good to be true!  Caddy's is a great spot to have dinner with the kids and get some beach time in too.  BBQ on the beach at finest and where else can you wear your swim suit to dinner.   Weekends can get packed.  Your best bet is to sneak away during the week.

The Columbia:   My kids love getting dressed up and going to a Flamenco Dancers show.  They promise to try something new off the menu and I promise they only have to take one bite.  ( I know if they don't like it I'll be happy to eat the rest!)  If your kids are growing up in Tampa or if you have pint size visitors from out of town this will be a special treat they are sure to remember.

Mel's Hot Dogs:  Best dog in town! and the hot dog car will make the kids stare

The Melting Pot:  If the kids have been extra good take em out for some chocalte fondue:)

Mid Peninsula Seafood Market:  Two of the nicest people I have ever met run this great seafood joint.  You order from the seafood case in the front of the store and they cook it up fresh.  You can dine in or take it home.  Either way it is great.  When you go tell Joan and Don "PJ said Hi".   400 49th Street  St. Petersburg  (727) 327-8309

Hot Rods
:  They love kids here!  Bring your hungry little ones and they will fill them up.  BBQ is what they do best.  If you are going from a birthday call ahead and they can make up a giant size burger.

Spaghetti Warehouse
:  My kid's love this place.   They always ask to go.  Something about it that they love.   It is in an old cigar factory.    My favorite is the Italian Wedding Soup.

Ruth A. loves taking the kids to Red Lobster on North Dale Marby Hwy. Her kids love to look at all the cool fish in the large salt-water aquarium in the lobby.
