Florida was underwater, to the Pleistocene when the first humans arrived 14,000 years ago. More than 90
percent of the 500 fossils are real and many were found within 100 miles of Gainesville. more
Florida Railroad Museum
All Aboard! Climb aboard and ride a vintage train. Open the window and let your mind wander as the countryside rolls on by. The museum operated train rides year round on Saturdays and Sundays at 11am and 2pm. The museum also has special events through out the year including the polar express, the pumpkin patch express and many others. Heritage Village - Largo
Go back in time and spend a day exploring what the past lives of residents of Tampa Bay was like. A 21-acre living history museum that is set in a landscape of shaded pine trees.
