Tubing Down the River And Swimming in the One of Florida's Fresh Water Springs

By PJ Goetz

"I always feel like I am good mom when my kids and I play in the waters around a Florida spring."

Florida is host to over 700 freshwater springs, the largest concentration of fresh water springs on earth.  Archaeological evidence indicates that Florida's springs have been a favorite among animals and people as far back as the last Ice Age.  Water rises up from deep within the earth's aquifer and is filtered by limestone.  The water that flows from these treasures is crystal clear and a constant 72 degrees.  Deep inviting pools form around the springs and then run to the rivers.

Grab the kids and put some sunscreens on we are going to play in the springs!

One of the very best things I have found on my Tampa with Kids adventures are Florida's fresh water springs.

Geologists think that there are more than 700 springs in Florida!

Pack the kids in the car and drive off to a day of refreshing fun at..............................................
